Uses the same Fed 2022 SCF percentile table as the stats above — a more granular source than the UBS wealth-tier bands used in the world-region chart below, so the two won't sum to the same "over $1M" total. UBS's Global Wealth methodology puts about 9% of US adults over $1M net worth; the SCF's survey data implies a notably higher share, which is a known, real discrepancy between the two data sources rather than an error in one of them.
